Sarah Davis

A professional risk manager with a passion for risk-taking

Sarah spent over two decades in risk management, primarily in financial services in banks including National Australia Bank, Macquarie Bank and Citi, where she led teams and ran projects.

In her forties, in search of more out of life, Sarah decided to step away from her corporate life and attempt to paddle the length of the Nile.

After two years of planning paddles hit the water and what followed was a life-changing adventure. She survived hippo attacks, being arrested and detained in Burundi and running lethal rapids.

In her words, “It was equal parts tough, terrifying and fun!” It made her feel truly alive. She found what she was searching for.

She went on to paddle the Murray River in Australia, cycle nearly 5,000km across Australia and solo-bike pack 1,600km through Oman. You can read more about her adventures here.

Now Sarah’s work focuses on helping people be bold, think bigger and become better risk-takers. She helps people embrace uncertainty, develop risk intelligence, overcome fears, and achieve what might have once seemed impossible.

Her overarching message is:

THINK BIG - ACT BOLD - DO MORE

Her goal is to encourage and help people do exactly that.
